'Andreas and Isabella have created such a welcoming and warm atmosphere with beautiful art on the walls and a unique setting in a former tram ticket office. There's a great community around their space and the menu is always changing and exciting. We usually go for lunch and get the hibiscus water kefir and whatever is on the menu that day whether it be Colombian potato soup Ajiaco, or seasonal pie with mountains of shaved Parmigiano.'

'Darcy’s is a great spot to stop for breakfast or simple lunch or simply to chat with the staff and baristas from other cafés on their day off. It’s an expat favorite so expect international vibes if you need a break from being around Danish people. They stock a great selection of coffee from roasters like Sey Coffee, Manhattan roasters and local favorites like La Cabra and April. Get the filter of the day and a cheesy toastie on the side, it’s a killer combo!'

'We just love what they do. Great local and seasonal ingredients and exciting flavor combos. They also have an incredibly long counter – maybe the longest in town? Great coffee here too of course. Staff is friendly – one time they made a few calls around to the other Coffee Collective cafés when we were desperate for Maritozzi and they were all out, by now they’ve let us in on the production plan so we know when they are fresh out of the oven. Get there for a second morning coffee and a maritozzo or perhaps pistachio and lemon curd snail.'

'Apotek 57 is a beautiful eatery situated inside an old apothecary, now designed store Frama. Italian chef Chiara Barla and her team have a small but well-curated selection of pastries, daily specials and seasonal dishes - all characterized by their simplicity and honesty. Yet the flavors and compositions are incredibly intentional and complex, highlighting and honoring each ingredient. We go there for the signature croissant with chocolate miso filling, and buckwheat galette with asparagus, kale and ramson flowers. That whipped ricotta and vanilla and honey roasted red grapes on toast were really amazing as well.'
